EU Referendum Debate

Interesting final paragraph to an excellent article in The Tribune

Our political leaders need to protect Britain’s overall interests. But they would do well to heed the growing strength of eurosceptic public opinion.

The general view is that the increasing clamour for a referendum is no surprise, that the Eurozone is as big a threat to the UL economy as the 2008 banking metldown and that despite major developments since the 1975 referendum of the then EEC the Bristih public have been promised, but not given, a formal test of their opinion.
