Garmin Connect: First Impressions

A while back I shared my decision on whether to get a Garmin or TomTom for use on the road bike. Today I used the Garmin 510 for the first time along with the Garmin Connect application for Samsung S4 and the Garmin Connect website. Am impressed!!

The actual ride wont impress many, but it is going to be my benchmark one that I monitor progress against, and I did it 15 minutes faster today than when I did it last when I was first trying the bike out.

It was really easy to connect the Garmin 510 to the bike (mount) and the Cadence bits and pieces. It picked up the heart monitor straight away, and the S4 via Bluetooth.

Automatically, and within seconds, it had uploaded the ride details to the Garmin Connect site via the S4.
