Google+ for Android gets flatter and faster with new update

Must confess have never been a huge Google+ user. I really like it but having been involved with Twitter since their pre release, invite only, beta and Facebook over the also 3 years I just haven’t come across a need to really get into Google+

Which is a shame as they have just updated their Android application to make the experience simple, flatter and faster.

The navigation bar that used to live along the bottom of the app is gone, while a revamped navigation menu provides fast access to your accounts and circles, and the splashes of red and the floating pencil icon that lets you quickly craft updates are new.

You can grab the latest version over on the Play Store
