I hadn’t really noticed how few day to day emails I get these days until I stripped out all the subscription, blog related and bulletin ones that I used to receive but have replaced with RSS feeds. This started me thinking as to "Where Have All My Emails Gone?"

Amazon have just announced the pre-order of the Netgear Skype Phone.
I have used Skype for many years and have a dual cordless phone that I find really useful, but I reckon this one is a “must have”.
Not only is the design totally along Apple lines, but it allows you to use your Skype account wherever you can access a wi-fi spot. The phone stores the software and your user details.

Today has been a pretty major day in my experiences with Podcasting to date. For the first time in four months I have had a pretty serious cull of the amount and type of podcasts that I listen to.
I have mentioned before that I am a bit of a podcast "junkie" and that I have a tendency to become obsessive not only in ensuring that I listen to all my podcast subscriptions pretty much as soon as they come in, but also that if I subscribe to a new podcast I want to catch up on all the backdated ones as quickly as possible.

Having switched from iRider to Firefox on the PC my initial reaction was to stick with Firefox.
Prior to purchasing the PowerBook I had an interesting exchange with a friend from the USA Scott who was advising me on the process:
Scott: “As I have already said, you really haven’t experienced RSS in all its glory until you have used Safari.’ Perhaps the most useful thing that Safari brings is Spotlight searching (or more appropriately, filtering).”
