Anyone used iPhoneModem ($9.99) on a Jailbroken 2.1 iPhone?

You should, if you are at all interested in using your iPhone (and more importantly it’s data plan) as a modem on your Notebook when you are out of WiFi coverage, or don’t want to pay WiFi charges.

It is still in it’s Beta phase at the moment, and is unsupported by Apple, but it is easy enough to use and good enough for most day to day use.

I have long envied people that live the cloud life as Paul describes it, and while many people over the years have said that I have my head in the clouds, or that I live up on Cloud 9, it really isn’t something that my life style requires or benefits from.

Have been really busy recently with a couple of clients and Almerimar Life, but in the midst of it all decided to add the 32″ Samsung as a third screen to the Mac Pro and get Sands a new flat screen.

Plan was to use it as media display (IM, MigliaTV, Twhirl etc), and also hook it up to the old Desktop PC, and the Wii and hopefully satellite.

CurdBee is a safe and secure web-based billing application from Vesess. Use it to send clients invoices and then collect payments via PayPal or Google Checkout, billing them easily in the currency you choose.

It is a free service that I cam across sometime ago and thought was pretty neat, but never really had much need for, so it sort of got stuck in the ‘look at later’ file.

I recently bought the domain name sands.me for Sands. Thought it would be fun, and she could do a landing page to her other sites or something with it.

Haven’t got round to do anything with it yet so it is just parked at the moment. Was somewhat surprised to get a letter from a legal firm in the US representing Las Vegas Sands Corp saying that the domain infringes their trademark and that as it is currently showing a landing pages that also references their competitors it is doing them harm ……… yeah right!!!
