DEVONtechnologies, LLC today releases the eighth and supposedly last public beta of version 2.0 of all editions of its information manager DEVONthink as well as of the smart note-keeper DEVONnote. The new release brings a polished appearance, a heavily revised column view, a much simplified installation, lots of additional and revised smart templates as well as, finally, tagging including support for OpenMeta.

The Telegraph has launched a new and improved version of its news application to help Apple iPhone users keep up with the latest headlines on the go.

The Telegraph app is available free of charge, unlike some other news applications.

The application – a small piece of software installed on a mobile device – automatically pulls in the latest news headlines and weather forecasts from the Telegraph website, making it quicker and easier to see top stories and sports results.

I am a big fan of HandBrake and have ripped over 500 DVD’s with it onto external hard drives. Not surprisingly I haven’t used it for a while!! That said, I need to rip a few in the next week or so was interested to read about 0.9.4
