Telefónica has been accused of holding back on the sale of the upgraded model
iPhone users in Spain have complained that they cannot buy the new 3GS model as Telefóncia is holding back their sale so they can get rid of stocks of the older iPhone model.
The model was launched in June and since then El Mundo reports that thousands of Telefónica clients have added their names to the waiting list.
The company has explained the situation as being the law of supply and demand, with a spokesperson claiming that ‘Apple is not making large numbers’.
The new model is quicker and has extended battery life by two hours. (Via Original Article)
