Missing Sync adds voicemail, memo support for iPhone

Missing Sync for iPhone 2.0 by Mark/Space was released a couple of months ago and added two-way wireless synching between the iPhone and your Mac or Windows based computer. The Mac client of the application allows you to synchronize notes, documents, and tasks and archive text messages and call history from your iPhone onto your Mac (and vice-versa wherever it applies).

The latest version of the application, Missing Sync for iPhone 2.0.2, came out Wednesday. It further extends the already impressive feature-set of the application to include wireless synchronization and archival of both voicemail messages and audio recordings from the new Voice Memos application on the iPhone onto your computer. This release also makes the application fully compatible with the recently released iPhone 3.0 OS update.

The Mac client is available for users of Mac OS X Leopard as well as Tiger and the Windows version is compatible with both Vista and XP. A single-user license for both the Mac and Windows versions costs $40 and there are several multiple-user packs available at various price points on the Mark/Space website.

This version of Missing Sync for iPhone is a free upgrade for all users of v2.x as well as those still on v1.x of the application. The iPhone applications that make this synchronization possible—Fliq Notes, Fliq Docs, and Fliq Tasks—are also available free of charge on the App Store.
