Perfect Match

Perfect Match by Jodi Picoult is very much a girlie book in my opinion! That doesn’t necessarily mean it is bad, but I found the subject matter somewhat feminine – a mothers feelings and response to her child being sexually assaulted.

Sands is a big Jodi Picoult fan and as we must have 8 or so of her books around the place I thought I would read them. This may just have been a bad first choice, but if it wasn’t for the fact that there were more already in the apartment I wouldn’t pick up another one.

It was well enough written, and I could ‘get into’ the characters easily enough, but it didn’t really draw me in as I like this type of ‘trashy’ novel to do!
