PTHPasteboard 4

There is a saying in the UK that goes something along the lines of you wait ages for a bus and then two come along at the same time.PTHPasteboard_128.jpg

That is how I feel with PTHPasteboard 4 ($19.95)
Hot on the heels of my previous clipboard review I came across PTHPasteboard 4, and I have been using it all the time.

If you will allow me a moment of self indulgence here, one of the hardest things when reviewing a product is how to distill the hours, days, months (OK I exaggerate a little towards the end of that bit) into a short enough review that will a) get the message over and b) not bore you too much. Thankfully a lot of that dilemma has been taken away from me this review as they have produced an amazingly useful screencast together that I suggest you take a look at. In fact to save you even more time I have uploaded the movie for you, and I have even added it to MyAppleStuff TV, so you have no excuses at all for not watching it.

For those of you that can’t wait to find out about the application this is what they say:

“Welcome to PTHPasteboard 4, the best and most mature multiple pasteboard program for OS X. How often have you copied something only to find that you need it a few minutes later but you’ve already copied another item? PTHPasteboard watches you while you work and keeps a copy of any items that you have copied to your pasteboard.

Try out PTHPasteboard and you’ll wonder how you lived without. Its a great tool that stays out of your way until you need it.

Best of all PTHPasteboard 4 is and has always been FREE.

We are also proud to announce PTHPasteboard PRO 4 for only $19.95. PTHPasteboard PRO adds the ability to Sync Pasteboards across multiple machines and the ability to paste through Filters for easy and powerful text manipulations.
PTHPasteboard 4 adds a number of exciting new features.

* Settings are now controlled via a Preference Pane in System Preferences
* Search field now available on all the Pasteboard windows
* Access information on Pasteboard items by right/control clicking on any item
* Paste formated text as unformatted by middle/command clicking on any item
* Vastly improved HotKeys support
* Fully integrated Mac OS X Help
* Ability to choose menubar icons for Custom Pasteboard windows”

Driven through the System Preferences PTHPasteboard 4 is very powerful, very easy to use, and I have to admit – somewhat addictive.

  1. Hello.
If you want to copy your friend’s backups, then he/she is going to have to use high quality media and burn them under 4x on them. Too many errors can occur on the cheaper-low quality media and too fast a burn speed. These errors will cause crc errors when you try to copy them. Some burners also vary, making them more difficult to make copies from them.On those backups of your friends:What brand name/format/and speed rating are they? How fast were they burned? What is that burner model # and brand name? What is your burner model # and brand name?HP a1118x-b/athlon 64-3300+/BenQ 1650 BCDC/LG 8163B/Modded Wii/Epson-R300 and Ty Watershields!!!
