Well, that was fast, and totally expected and predicted I might add!! Just over week after Snow Leopard officially shipped, the first update’s on the books. Nothing major in the changelog here, but we’re told Flash has been updated to a newer, more secure version.

Apple near ready with release of Mac OS X 10.5.7

According to AppleInsider after providing developers with weekly betas of the software for nearly two months, the Mac maker in recent days cranked up the frequency of the pre-release distributions, which is more often than not a telltale sign of an imminent release.
