The Notebook

Watched The Notebook the other night. Enjoyed it, although it was what I call a Lazy Movie. Really easy to watch as the script, story line and action was all so predictable so you could just sit back and wash over you. Must have been an easy movie to act as well – no really heavy part to get your teeth into, lots of looking at each other, and no real characters (you got the feeling that the actors were just been themselves). Directing must have been a doddle on the basis that if it was obvious to us watching what was going to happen it must have been easy to figure that out and direct it.

Don’t get me wrong though, it was an enjoyable movie, with good characters and well acted, and given that I just wanted to crash out and relax for a while it did the job perfectly.
