Watched the last episode of Series 1 of Fortitude last night, and having sat down to watch what I thought was the last of a one of series with some relief as I had found it a little ‘too weird’ for my boring tastes, I came away mildly relieved that they are doing a second series, so no doubt the Sky Planner will pick that up at some stage.
This is one of those series that we tend to save until all episodes have aired and then watch a couple to see if we are going to stick with it, and then hit them 2 or 3 at a time on consecutive days.
Fortitude is a good example of how this can work as if I had watched the first one ‘live’ I reckon I would have turned off. Having saved them all I went into ‘why not watch another’ mode for the first 3 or 4 and then I started to get into it.
Yes, a very strange series that seemed to switch from being a murder mystery to sci-fi before totally losing the plot. I can only imagine that it lost its way in order to leave the door wide open for the next series.
With a touch of comedy in last episode with the fight 🙂
Yup it was odd but also will prob watch the next season to see where it goes
