Fleur would have been fourteen (14) today. This is her first birthday since we lost her, and she is really missed. Moreno has certainly missed her, but Kasper in particular has stepped up and keeps him company at night, and little Evie has started sleeping on the bed as if Fleur told her that she was ‘next in line’, just as she did when we lost Saidi.
What should have been a happy day will now be a sad day, but she knows she was loved and is missed, and we know that she loved every minute with us and could not have had a better life than she had.
