Amazing to think it is already five (5) years ago that on a walk along the beach on Almerimar with Teo & Tigra my attention was drawn to a meow emanating from a bush.
Further investigation unearthed Sophie. Absolutely no idea how she ended up in this particular bush on the edge of the Nature Reserve, miles away from any properties.
We checked but no sign of a mother or siblings, and we continued to check for weeks after as we walked that way every day.
Such a sweet little girl she was not with us for long as FIP took her from us, but nor from our hearts and minds.
When she died we took a cutting from ‘her’ bush, and when we moved back to the UK we brought a cutting from that cutting with us and so every day we see a thriving Sophie’s Bush.
RIP sweet heart, you will always remain special to us and part of the family.
