Couldn’t tell you why I picked The Great Indoors by Sabine Durrant to read. Not exactly my normal choice of book, although that said I have tried to read anything and everything that I come across recently, so when I saw this on Sands shelves I thought why not, and picked it up.
What I first thought of as a pleasant summer read actually turned out to be a pretty thought provoking book, based on a number of inter family relationships, and specifically having the strength to be your own person.
Surprisingly relevant and poignant, and well worth a read.
