This year’s tragic dog-meat festival in Yulin, China, is over — but we have powerful leverage to stop it from ever happening again, saving countless puppies from this gruesome fate.
The Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) hosts the annual World Dog Show — which has been called the “world’s most important dog show” — in a different country each year. 2019’s show is scheduled for China.
It’s unthinkable that the same government that allows the dog-eating festival to occur each year would be rewarded with the World Dog Show. Yulin’s festival means children’s pets are kidnapped to be sold for a cheap buck and eaten, and are often even skinned and boiled alive. We need to END that event, not look the other way and bring even more dogs to the region!

by all means sign this petition, but if you sign it and yet still eat the dead bodies of other, just as deserving animals, then i’m afraid, your just a hypocrite, just because we live in a different culture where cows, pigs, sheep, goats,rabbits, chickens are exploited for their meat, and yet cuddly dogs are kept as pets, does not give us the right to condemn another culture that has different ideals, there is no excuse for cruelty under any circumstances, and China doesn’t have a great record in its treatment of either animals or humans, but don’t condemn them for eating a different meat to what you choose. all animals deserve our compassion and respect. rant over.
