Gray Nicolls NHS Charities Together Cricket Bat

Another cricket bat added to the “collection”but this one is a little different.

We’ve teamed up with NHS Charities Together to bring you an amazing new cricket bat. The bat was designed by 7 year old Ollie Warner for our Junior Bat Designer competition in April, and captured the heart of cricket fans everywhere. The bat is £149.99, with all profit going to NHS Charities Together.

The bat comes in short handle only, with an Extratec face, and will be between 2lb8oz and 2lb11oz. 1 BAT PER CUSTOMER ONLY.

To be honest I am a little disappointed. The implication from the pre sales blurb was that all proceeds (not profits) would be going to the NHS and it was only when they sent the email yesterday saying it was going to be available at 10am today that they said were only making 20.

What initially seemed like a very generous idea from Gray Nicolls, dropped down to a good idea.

On the other hand ….. only 20!

So 9.59am this morning I have three browser windows open on my Mac mini (dual screen) and the page open on my phone and I am refreshing like a teenager locked in his room and bing0 …… I grabbed one!

There is a hint in the site that more may become available, so you can check out on this link.
