To this day I have no idea what made me look down when I did!
We never walked along the beach nine (9) years ago (pre dogs) in the evening so I have no idea what made me suggest that we went for a walk that evening, and I have no idea why I looked down into the bushes when I did, but I am so glad on both counts as it was then that I saw this small black bundle of a kitten.
He was happy to be picked up, purred all the way back to the apartment in Sands arms, and had been adopted long before he first set into his new home.
The move to the UK has not altered his approach to life at all. He does what he wants, when he wants, at his own pace, all the time chattering away.
He gets on with all the other animals and they all love him. He will pop up on the bed last thing at night and in the morning, but he is not a great one for contact, but he is a brilliant alarm clock. As soon as it is light and he can see the birds out of a window he has to let us know.
Nine years my friend …. it seems like only yesterday!
