Twelve (12) years today Sands brought a badly injured, scared and frail little Fleur home. It was touch and go if she would lose her leg, or indeed have to be put to sleep, but we nursed her non stop for 6 weeks with a lot of help from Moreno who took her under his care then, and is still by her side now. She loves him so much and we love her.
She is still timid, but has her own routines, sleeps on the bed curled up between Moreno and myself every night and has become good friends with little Evie.
