Four years ago walking from the car to the vets with Teo to discuss possible treatments for his Lymphoma I heard a small cry, which I tracked down to the engine of a car parked in the street.
Ninety minutes later, with most of the bottom of the car removed, I gathered a small and very dirty little kitten into my arms and hoping he wouldn’t wiggle free hurried into the vets.
Having recently lost Sophie, and knowing we had months at best with Teo, there was never any doubt he was coming home with us.
He has turned out to be a large, gentle, pud of a cat that just loves life, especially his best mate Marti.
My only whinge is that having spent ninety minutes rescuing he has decided that he is Sands cat!!!
