Dinky is two (2) today, her first birthday with us. I would like to say we will make a fuss of her, but she remains quite timid and nervous around us.
She has done really well though. A brilliant mother she looked after the Donuts so well, and she remains very close (and playful) with them all. More so with the girls (Evie and Mille) but she is often to be found playing with the boys.
She is slowly getting more comfortable around us: she will sniff an out stretched hand and keeps her distance rather than run away, but she is doing really well with her life.
She tends to sleep under the bed at night with the other cats, and often can be seen on the bed during the day. She loves outside (both the Catio and the Garden) and I think once the better weather arrives and we are all outside more we will get closer to her.
She joins all the other cats in the kitchen in the morning for treats with Sands and has her own routines around The Cottage, where she has free access and is very comfortable.
She is a very pretty young lady and she is safe, happy and healthy and most importantly for us she is with her family!
She has no issues with any of the other cats or the dogs and to be honest if she remained nervous of us all her life it would be fine as she is active and engaged with the other animals and seems very happy with her life.
