Apple have released an update for iMacs running both Leopard and Tiger. No real information (as usual) “”this update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for 20-inch and 24-inch iMac models with 2.0, 2.4, or 2.8GHz processors.”
New graphic drivers seem to be included, but the intermittent freezing issues reported by some seem to still exist.
I have upgraded Sands iMac but as it didn’t have any problems before and doesn’t have any now I guess that isn’t really much help!!!
The freezing problems are related to the brand new iMacs – the so called “alu iMacs” or, as Apple put it, the “iMac (Mid 2007)”. Mine has experienced this problem twice now, so I’m not as badly off as some people.
I seem to recall you mentioning Sands iMac off and on over quite a long while, so I don’t think it qualifies. (Different graphic cards…)
You are correct sir 🙂
