As if I didn’t spend enough time at the keyboard, I have just been accepted to write for both Gadgetell and Appletell – both paying gigs!
Not only does this help on the drive towards that Mac Pro, but it also takes me further into the world of writing more for a living. I know, a small step, but a significant one. I am viewing this as a long term commitment to provide an on-going contribution to my income, to enable me to explore other options in and around the world of blogging and content creation.
I have ‘passed’ the trial period on both sites, so from 1st August I expect to post things on a (very) regular basis.
Good luck. I’m sure you will be a big success.
You know what you’re talking about!
Kind of you to say. I am already finding that I am learning more and reading a wider range of stuff already.
A book is next….
@Mac: not too sure about that. I mulled one over a year or so ago. My father is the authour – he has written a number of educational (Math) text books over the years!
@Chris … that’s a cop out! Just sit down and write one. I think it would be good one. From what I’ve read so far, you have a good writing style, which will improve even more with the contracts.
Harry Potter and the Missing Mac mini ?
> New Contracts
This is becoming a habit! 🙂
It needs to – otherwise no Mac Pro, 23″ ACD, or new lenses for me for a while.
congrats Chris. I’m also write for the Gadgetell and I bought a new Dell 1520 laptop with pay. Life is good.
@Colbert: thanks! Just finding my feet this month.
BW I think you can add the Beckhams to your celebrity iPhone list, was watching some show on UK TV about their move to LA and “Posh” had an iPhone. I actually think it was fatter than she was, it was certainly more intelligent, and I dare say a lot more fun on a date!!!!
congrats! just catching up on your blog and saw this. i hope you really enjoy it and I know you’ll do well!
Cheers – so far so good. Is taking some getting used to in terms of adjusting my own workflow, but I can see it getting better every day!
