Refurbished TON Cricket Bat

Let me be 100% clear, this is NOT a Masuri E-Line Cricket Bat, but it was purchased as an older TON bat, and as I intended to use the bat as a Net Bat I decided to Brand it the same as my original Masuri Bat with my ‘signature’ labels on the back.

The bat was in pretty good condition so was a refurb not a repair, and when I took it to the nets to try it out (I had knocked it in and oiled it) a number of people asked if I had a new bat.

Playing on a Sunday for Barlaston Cricket Club I leant the bat to a mate and having scored 60+ not out, including the largest six of his career he said he wanted to buy it. Wasn’t in the plan as this was really a bat I had bought to see how good I was at refrbishing bats prior to setting up Chris Marshall Cricket.

Really enjoyed working on it, hadn’t expected to sell it, but did confirm that I will offer a Cricket Bat Refurbishment and Repair Service as well as restoring and selling bats with proceeds contributing to the NHS and supporting the Galgos.

There wasn’t too much wrong with the bat, a little neglected and some damage caused by the incorrect removal of a scuff sheet.

To be CLEAR this is NOT a Masuri bat, but I was told it was a TON bat and as I was planning on using this as a net bat I put the same stickers on as I have on my own bats.
