Just had to say goodbye to Fleur. She had had a few issues with her kidneys over the last year, but at the end of last week went into renal failure. She had a last weekend at home with us and Moreno and was purring until the end.
She would have been 14 in May, so we will forever be grateful for the time she gave us, and as we will always do, we ensured she didn’t suffer at all.
Moreno got to give her a lick and a kiss this morning when they woke up, Sands kissed her goodbye and I was with her at the end where she went out as she lived her life: a total star.
RIP sweetheart.
