I have been looking for a solo seat for the 2002 Road King Classic and have come across a slight issue.
I have a riders backrest fitted on the bike currently, but they have mounted it on the rear fender not to the actual seat.
This makes it very secure which is a good thing but is causing a slight problem with sourcing a solo seat.
The standard way a solo seat is secured is to the original mounting which I can do of course with a new seat but …
That will leave a couple of rather unsightly bolts protruding from the rear fender.
Two options spring to mind: find a solo seat that will utilise these mounting bolts or use the original mounting and find a neat cover either for the bolts or to secure between the two bolts and the rear mounting bolt at the rear of the fender for that secures the pillion seat.
