It is just over six weeks since we lost Saidi, and while we were able to sort out the urn, memorial plaque and her photo and passport, one thing I was not able to get done was her details added to my tattoo.

Thanks (hugely) to Electric Scribble Tattoo and Jared Forrester in particular I got this done on Tuesday morning, their first customer on the day they opened.
I had been in touch with Jared as soon as Saidi died and he had said he would contact me as soon as they knew they were opening and I could go in first to ‘dry run’ their COVID-19 processes. True to his word I got a message on the Monday asking if I wanted to come in at 10.30. I think after the best part of three months off he was happy to have a (very) small job to get back into the swing and see how it worked with the added precautions they now taking.
I was more than happy to do this as I have used them many times over the years, know them well, and trust them to not only meet but to exceeds the requirements placed on them to open.
See you at 10:30 tomorrow, you’ll have to wear a face mask and face shield that we will provide. Please arrive exactly on time as we can’t have people waiting around inside the shop. Bring only water, no food. And come alone.
Confirmation Message From Jared
Although we had been in touch and I knew what was required I received the above message from Jared confirming the process and what I needed to do.

Not the most exciting tattoo I agree, but means a lot to me to record all our pets time with us, so once again THANKS to Jared et al.
We miss Saidi a lot, every day, but at east now she is remembered fully along with her other departed friends.
