A university in the US is reportedly holding American government–funded hamster fights — injecting some animals with steroids, cocaine, or other aggression–promoting drugs and pitting them against non–drugged hamsters.
Sign the petition to stop Northeastern University’s barbaric hamster fight club.
Drugging hamsters and making them fight is a bizarre and cruel use of tax money, costing up to $3 million since 1996. Worse, these animals’ brains are dissected once the fighting is finished.
Stop the US government from funding animal cruelty. Tell the Northeastern University Psychology Department: stop drugging and fighting hamsters!
