View From The Boundary Edge

I mentioned in my recent post confirming the return of my Cricket Diary in 2022 that it would be concentrating on my life on the field – over the white line – and a new column called View From The Boundary Edge would look at other things cricket related that find their way into my life.

It is fair to assume that this will include Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Warwickshire County Cricket Club, England Cricket, The ECB, The Hundred, The Vitality Blast, County Championship Cricket, The Royal London et al.

I also intend to review more cricket books, and I find it hard to believe I will not review new products but I want to talk about the people I meet, the social side of life, my coaching and umpiring, my experiences with Heaven Help Us Cricket Club and pretty much anything else that is cricket related.

I intend to look in more detail at the ways in which the game has changed (or not) since my day, and it would be remiss not to look at the future from time to time.

Guest posts will continue to be welcome.

Thank You

Continued thanks for their support go to Masuri , Gray-Nicolls and Williamson-Boucher who between them more than fulfil my match day, training and casual requirements. Both on and off the field I am the equivalent of a modern day walking A Board, even on the Golf Course as I have started playing again! They are all great companies and people who helped with my return to cricket in 2021 and I am delighted to have their continued support.

I will continue to support the NHS as well as the exceptional Heaven Help Us Cricket Club Charity.
