Goes without saying that the Hypernova Pro Pads go with the Hypernova 2000 Batting Gloves which gives me yet another ongoing dilemma: how do I use all this stuff!!??
Current thoughts: Masuri for Staffordshire Seniors and any Club Cricket I play, Gray-Nicolls for No Boundaries Cricket Club (Red Ball) and any XL and Guest/Charity games I play.
Will put the Prestige Pads into the NBCC kit bag.
My Review
Price: £139.99
Can tick off the two basic requirements of batting pads: they are extremely comfortable and offer great protection. No surprises then as these are a Test Level pad from a premier brand.
Of course they look great, from the inside which of course nobody actually sees which begs the question “does it matter?”. Well yes it does and if you have to ask then maybe cricket isn’t the game for you!!!
