Product Review: Gray-Nicolls Black/White Pro Performance Batting Gloves

What do coloured batting glove and London Buses have in common …..

Only two weeks since I said No More Stuff having just reviewed the Hypernova 2000 Batting gloves and I have already added TWO pairs of Black Batting Gloves to the collection!

Again a much appreciated gift so I am sort of sticking to my promise!!!

Where are they now? It goes without saying that I don’t need so many pairs of gloves and I certainly can’t wear then all. At the moment the Off Cut Pro gloves (which is many ways are my favourite colour wise) sit in my coaching bag/kit. The new Gray-Nicolls Black gloves are going to be the primary T20 batting gloves basically because I have the Black Gray-Nicolls Legend Batting Pads which means the DKP Black Gloves are donated to the No Boundaries Cricket Club KIt Bag. The Inferno 2000 Gloves are in my Outdoor Net Bag and the Hypernova 2000 are in the T20 kit bag as a spare pair and to be used when warming up.

My Review

Price: £99.99

To be honest there is not much I can say that hasn’t been said before! Quality wise they are excellent, protection wise they are more than adequate and design wise they are as good as anything Gray-Nicolls have produced, which makes them very good.

Personally I am not a big fan of the white block for the logo but they didn’t really have any other option and if I was choosing which gloves I prefer the look of I would say the DKP BUT I find it near on impossible not to go with the matching brand thing so I will be using these for T20.

The white logo is growing on me.
For clarity. I love the logo, just not sure that I wouldn’t prefer the gloves to be all black.
Quality protection as you would expect and very comfortable, especially the thumb.
Very comfortable and I do like the black top half of the thumb.
What no name!!??
Same protection, different name. What will they call it next.
